Rule 180
In relation to controlled goods
: Regardless of what is written in the current law, if any of the controlled goods in the Nepal Police are stolen during police operations or if they are not working or are not in use, the inspector general of police, if it is up to five lakh rupees, if it is up to five lakh rupees, the secretary of the ministry, if it is up to five lakh rupees, on the recommendation of the following committee, If it is more than seven lakh rupees and up to ten lakh rupees, the Minister of Home Affairs and if it is more than that, the Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers can order to sell, rot, melt, wash or auction:-
(a) Deputy Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters, Operations Department – ​​Chairman
(b) Head of Police Headquarters, Economic Administration Division – Member
(c) Gazetted Class II employees of the Ministry – Member
(d) Gazetted Class II employees of the Comptroller General's Office – Member
(e) Expert in the relevant subject designated by the Police Head Office - member
(f) Head of Police Headquarters, Management Branch – Member
(G) Police Head Office, Bhandar Branch Chief - Member Secretary Explanation: For the purposes of this sub-rule, "controlled goods" means the weapons, equipment and items designated as controlled goods by the Police Head Office from time to time.
